LiftCare Mobility is more than a transportation service — it is a promise born from a family’s journey, a son’s courage, and a mother’s unwavering strength.
Our story began long before the business had a name. It began the day my mom suffered her second stroke, a moment that changed everything. The stroke took away her ability to walk, compounding the challenges she had already faced after her first. Suddenly, every doctor’s appointment, every therapy session, every lab visit became a mountain we had to climb — not because the care wasn’t available, but because getting her there safely felt nearly impossible.
There were no affordable wheelchair‑accessible transportation options. No service that could gently lift her, support her, and carry her with dignity. The only alternative was an expensive ambulance ride, something never intended for routine medical visits. So my sister and I did what families do when love leaves no room for hesitation — we lifted her ourselves. We used our old SUV, carefully helping her into the front seat, trying to make her comfortable, trying to hide our worry, trying to be strong for her.
But every trip took a toll. On her body. On our hearts. On our hope that there had to be a better way.
It was in those moments — the quiet ones, the painful ones, the determined ones — that the idea for LiftCare Mobility was born. A service created so that no family would have to struggle the way we did. A service built to honor the dignity, comfort, and independence of those who need just a little extra help getting to the care that keeps them well.
My mom passed away in December 2020. She never had the chance to experience LiftCare Mobility, but she is the reason it exists. Every ride we provide carries her memory. Every family we help reflects the love we had for her. Every safe arrival is a tribute to the strength she showed, even on her hardest days.
